DR. CHRISTINA OPRESCU-HAVRILIUC, DDS

Dr. Christina Oprescu-Havriliuc has been creating beautiful smiles and healthy teeth for over 20 years. Her goal - now and always - is to provide the best diagnosis, the best treatment and the most confortable dental experience for you and your family.

Ensuring exceptional technical skill and patient care have been the hallmark of Dr. Oprescu-Havriliuc's career, and as such she was recognized with the distinction of Fellow of the Academy of Dentistry International (2010) and as well as the Academy of General Dentistry (2006).

Dr. Oprescu-Havriliuc has taught general and restorative dentistry at universities in Europe and Canada and currently teaches in the Restorative Department at the University of Toronto's School of Dentistry. Her own technical skills are constantly maintained and upgraded with professional education in the latest techniques, best practices, and technologies.

Dr. Oprescu-Havriliuc and her staff are giving back to the community in many ways both locally and internationally. She is proudly supporting communities through donations, sponsorships and educational experiences. Her generous contributions promote dental health, general health and well being in various communities. Dr. Oprescu-Havriliuc also supports the art and culture in various communities.

Dr. Oprescu-Havriliuc also promotes oral health education by speaking at local schools and donates toothbrushes and toothpaste to youth shelters and local community groups throughout the Greater Toronto Area.

    Hello, my name is Luda, I am a registered Dental Hygienist. After graduating with honors I entered the very dynamic profession of dental hygiene. My goal is to pursue a patient centered approach with developed treatment plans that are specifically tailored to the patients’ individual needs and oral health goals. I am committed to providing the highest quality care by staying current with latest research and pursuing continuing education. I enjoy working with wonderful patients at Dr. Oprescu-Havriliuc clinic and am very happy to be part of this highly knowledgeable and professional team. Besides English, I speak Russian, Ukrainian and a little bit of Spanish.

    My name is Sandra and my cumulative 15 years experience in the dental field has given me an excellent background in all facets of dental care.  As a Hygienist, I provide comprehensive, client centered care in a friendly, professional manner.  I ensure my proficiency is upheld by taking continuing education courses to provide optimal dental treatment. Beyond providing therapeutic services, my goal is to educate people about the importance of oral healthcare and how it relates to ones overall health and to teach and motivate people to maintain an effective home care regime.  I also speak Italian.

I am very fortunate to be part of such a caring and talented team, and I am dedicated to providing you with the best skill and chairside assistance I possibly can. I always welcome questions and enjoy building great relationships with all of our patients. I also speak Portuguese.

    My Canadian dream is to pursue a career in the healthcare field. I studied General Medicine in my home  country and I’ve learned all these years, while interacting with patients, that I will always enjoy the peaceful feeling of being helpful and the solidarity to contribute to the well-being of the patients that needed most. Becoming a Dental Assistant is another step in my continuing education and development and gives me a tremendous self-satisfaction. I believe, it is a fun and rewarding career for individuals like me, which have a strong desire to help and provide comfort to others.
